Refund Policy

Refund & Transfer Policy

All ticket purchases, add-ons, and manuscript review bookings for the Dominican Writers Conference are final and non-refundable.

Due to the limited capacity of the conference and the high demand for manuscript review sessions, we are unable to offer refunds for any reason, including but not limited to scheduling conflicts or travel issues.
 

Transfers

Conference tickets may be transferred to another participant with advance notice and approval from the Dominican Writers Association.

Manuscript review sessions may also be transferred to another participant with approval but:

  • Cannot be reassigned to a different reviewer

  • Must follow all submission guidelines and deadlines
     

Missed Manuscript Review Sessions

If a participant misses their scheduled manuscript review session, they may coordinate directly with the reviewer to reschedule at a later date.
 

Rescheduling is:

  • At the sole discretion and availability of the reviewer

  • Not guaranteed by the Dominican Writers Association

  • Not facilitated or managed by conference organizers
     

No refunds or credits will be issued for missed sessions.
 

Program Changes

The Dominican Writers Association reserves the right to make changes to the conference schedule, speakers, or programming. These changes do not constitute grounds for a refund.
 

Force Majeure

In the event of circumstances beyond our control (including but not limited to severe weather, venue issues, or public health emergencies), the conference may be postponed or modified. Refunds will not be guaranteed, but alternative arrangements may be provided at the discretion of the organization.
