On April 28, Word Up Community Bookshop and Bronx Music Hall are hosting an evening with Julia Alvarez in conversation with Angie Cruz, celebrating the release of Julia's new poetry collection Visitations. DWA has been gifted 50 spots to the pre-event reception -- and we are passing that gift directly to you.
Julia will be signing books starting at 4:30pm. The reception runs from 5 to 6pm, with light snacks provided and drinks available for purchase.
